Malcolm Brogdon and Jonas Valanciunas led the team with 17 points each while Alexandre Sarr chipped in with 13 points but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Wizards shot just 41 percent from the field and eight of 33 from the 3-point line as they suffered another slow start and were never really in the contest after falling behind by 61-44 going into halftime. Jordan Poole had a night to forget as he shot just one of seven from the field to finish with just eight points. The Wizards will meet the Cavs and Mavs after this one.

Milwaukee Bucks 

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been on a tear as they've won seven of their last eight games and they will be eager to build on their current five-game win streak after sneaking past the Heat in a 106-103 road win on Tuesday. Damian Lillard drained eight 3-pointers to lead the team with 37 points and 12 assists, Brook Lopez added 13 points with three blocks while Bobby Portis chipped in with 11 points off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 46 percent from the field and an efficient 20 of 42 from the 3-point line as they dominated the third quarter to build a 22-point lead before they held off a late rally from the Heat. The Bucks will face the Pistons following this game.

The Wizards are still missing some players with Kyle Kuzma and Saddiq Bey still out, while the Bucks are at full strength except for Khris Middleton who is still out. The Wizards have been one of the worst teams in the league from opening night, they are still missing one of their best players and they just got trampled by the Clippers by 25 points in their last outing. In contrast, the Bucks look to be in a groove despite the injuries and they are expecting to have their leader Giannis Antetokounmpo back on the court for this one. The line was always going to be big for this matchup, but I think the Bucks make mincemeat of this line with a big win at home.
