The Memphis Grizzlies have been in decent form as they've split their first six games and they will be eager to build some momentum after making light work of the Bucks in a 122-99 home win on Thursday. Ja Morant led the team with a triple-double of 26 points with 10 rebounds and 14 assists, Santi Aldama added 19 points with nine rebounds, while Jaylen Wells and Scottie Pippen Jr each scored 16 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 52 percent from the field and eight of 28 from the 3-point line as they took the fight to the Bucks from the start, setting the tone with 40 points in the first quarter and they didn't take their foot off the gas until the lead ballooned to 31 points at one stage. 

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been doing it tough so far as they've lost three of their first four games and they will be hoping for a better effort after getting beaten by the lowly Pistons in a 105-95 home loss on Wednesday. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 32 points and seven assists on 12 of 25 shooting, Kelly Oubre Jr added 13 points while Jared McCain chipped in with 12 points, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the 76ers shot just 41 percent from the field and eight of 28 from the 3-point line as they struggled for points once again, scoring just 19 points in the second quarter to trail going into halftime and things only got worse in the third quarter where they trailed by as many as 21 points. Caleb Martin had a rough game, scoring just seven points on two of 10 shooting while Kyle Lowry scored just three points. The 76ers will take on the Suns after this game.

The Grizzlies are still missing a host of players including, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, and Luke Kennard, while the 76ers are still missing Paul George and Joel Embiid. Both teams are banged up right now, but it is the Grizzlies who have more depth to cover compared to the 76ers who look so thin without their two stars in the lineup. The Pistons should be well-rested as they haven't played since Wednesday, but they are coming fresh off a loss to the Pistons, while the Grizzlies just smashed the Bucks in their last game. The line is short for this one, so I am happy to lean towards the Grizzlies to get the win and cover on the road.
