San Francisco Dons Betting Preview
The Dons were choppy in their first 11 games, notching a rough 6-5 record. San Francisco took victories in five of the next six outings however (losing to Oregon State). Next was a 3-4 stretch with losses to Loyola Marymount, Saint Mary’s, Gonzaga and Santa Clara in seven games. The Dons then took losses to LMU and Saint Mary’s, giving the team a 14-12 record in their first 26 games.
On Thursday versus Oregon State, the Dons were outmatched. San Francisco limped into the locker room at halftime sporting a rough 50-28 deficit. The Dons didn’t end up getting any closer on a 40-35 run in the second half and ended up falling in blowout fashion at home 90-63. Ryan Beasley put up 17 points with three rebounds in the defeat and Legend Smiley had 14 points with two rebounds.
San Diego Toreros Betting Preview
Over on the San Diego side, they were sitting at a pretty sketchy 7-12 record across their first 19 games of the year. The Toreros would win three of the next four over Bethesda, Washington State and Pepperdine, though. San Diego then fell to Oregon State, Saint Mary’s and Loyola Marymount before a win over Portland, giving the Toreros an 11-16 record in the books over 27 outings.
Matched up against the Pilots on Wednesday, the Toreros managed to power out a 71-58 win on their home court. San Diego was eld by Juanse Gorosito with 19 points, five rebounds, three steals and five assists in 34 minutes of action on the floor. Toneari Lane also managed to finish in double-digits with 14 points and two rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench during the winning effort.

San Francisco vs San Diego Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Toreros. You could call it either way, though. San Diego shot pretty well in their win over Portland with 46 percent from both the field and 3-point range (12-of-26) alongside 30 rebounds. The Toreros had 13 turnovers in that one though, and only shot eight free throws (making five for 63 percent). San Diego is still just 1-3 in their last four games though, scoring fewer than 64 points in two of the last three games as well.
In the last meeting between these two teams back on January 2, San Diego took a 74-64 road loss. In that game the Toreros shot 43 percent from the field and just 18 percent (4-of-22) from outside along with an ugly 42-25 rebounding deficit. San Diego had the edge in the paint (40-38) and on fast breaks (13-5), though. This home rematch is going to take a big push but I think the Toreros are up for it.
