North Carolina A&T Aggies Betting Preview
The Aggies opened up the season with a pretty easy matchup. North Carolina A&T took on Cheyney and didn’t have too many issues in a 107-55 blowout victory. Game two was the Aggies’ first loss, however, an 80-64 affair versus Wake Forest.
North Carolina A&T fell again in their last outing Tuesday versus George Washington. The Aggies were down 44-33 by the break and lost 85-80 despite a six-point second-half advantage. Leading scorer Landon Glasper posted 22 points and six boards.
The Citadel Bulldogs Betting Preview
Over on the Citadel side, they’ve got four games in the bag so far. The Bulldogs opened up with a tough loss 69-60 versus Boston College. In the next pair, the Citadel bounced back with wins over Erskine 86-56 and Stetson 74-52, though.
The Bulldogs kept it going with a win over North Greenville on Thursday. In that one, the Citadel posted a 37-23 first-half advantage and rolled to a 79-54 win in the end. Tops in scoring was Brody Fox with 23 points, and Sola Adebisi doubled on 16 points and 12 boards. The Citadel will play against Charleston and Campbell following this one.

- The Citadel has won five of its last six home games.
- North Carolina A&T has lost the first half in nine of its last 10 games against the Southern Conference.
Why the North Carolina A&T Aggies will win
- The Citadel has lost seven of its last nine day games.
NC A&T vs The Citadel Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Citadel. The Bulldogs have a couple of wins versus overmatched teams this year but should match up pretty well here. The Citadel posted 45 percent shooting with 45 rebounds in their win over North Greenville but went a shoddy 17-of-32 (53.1 percent) from the line. That makes 74 or more points in each of their wins so far.
As for NC A&T, they shot well overall in their latest loss to George Washington but couldn’t overcome a slow start. The good news is that the Aggies rebounded well (38) and hit 88.9 percent (16-of-18) from the line. I think NC A&T will be fairly close to a cover/win here but ultimately I like the Citadel better in that regard.
