Arizona State gave up just 39 percent shooting on defense but did get outmuscled on the boards 32-26. The Sun Devils are 4-3 in their last seven games but they’ve got a couple of pretty nice wins in that time (particularly the home win versus Texas Tech on February 17).

As for Kansas, they realistically weren’t going to contend too well with a great Arizona team in a road matchup over the weekend—and they didn’t. The Jayhawks finished with just 33.8 percent shooting from the field, a 46-22 deficit on the boards and a 30-20 disadvantage on points in the paint. The Jayhawks are just 2-3 in the last five games but to be fair they’ve played some very talented squads in that time.
