Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview
The Bulldogs have just one blemish on their card so far; they’re looking quite good overall. Georgia opened the year on a six-game win streak, taking out Bellarmine, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Morehead State, Georgia Tech, Florida A&M and Xavier during those half-dozen outings. Following their first loss of the season on November 23 in overtime versus Clemson, Georgia got back to business with a blowout win over Tennessee Tech in the next outing. That gives the Bulldogs a 7-1 record through eight games thus far.
In the Tennessee Tech matchup last weekend, the Bulldogs went into the locker room with a big lead 62-36. Georgia didn’t let up in the second on a 61-45 run and took the victory in the end 123-81. Tops in scoring was Marcus Millender with 22 points and seven assists. Second was Jeremiah Wilkinson with 20 points, five assists and three rebounds. Kanon Catchings added 17 points with seven rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes of work on the floor during the win.
Florida State Seminoles Betting Preview
Over on the FSU side, they’re not doing so terribly themselves but do have a couple of losses in the bag. The Seminoles opened the season with a couple of wins over Alcorn State and Alabama State, then fell versus Florida by two points. After that came three straight wins over Tennessee-Martin, Georgia Southern and Cal State Bakersfield ahead of another loss to Texas A&M. Over seven games that gives Florida State a 5-2 record this season so far.
Matched up against Texas A&M last Friday, the Seminoles were trailing big at the break 52-24. Florida State didn’t end up getting any closer on a 43-35 run from there and took the loss 95-59. The only player to finish with double-digit points on the team was Kobe MaGee with 21 points and three boards. Robert McCray added 11 assists with three rebounds and two points in the losing effort for the Seminoles as well.

Georgia vs Florida State Prediction
I’ll stay with Georgia. The Bulldogs bounced back well following their first loss this year, demolishing a struggling Tennessee Tech team at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia shot 54.7 percent from the field and 48.8 percent (21-of-43) from outside in that one, but could have been a bit better at the line (20-of-29 for 69 percent). The Bulldogs had a 43-29 rebounding edge but did get outscored in the paint 52-36. That gives Georgia 78 or more points in every game so far this year.
As for Florida State, they got wrecked by Texas A&M in their last appearance. The Seminoles shot just 28.8 percent from the field and 22 percent (9-of-41) from outside along with 8-of-17 (47.1 percent) at the line in that one. It simply wasn’t a good offensive day for FSU, who also coughed up 15 turnovers and had a 53-35 rebounding disadvantage. Tuesday’s matchup versus Georgia won’t get any easier.
