Denver vs Cal Poly Prediction
I’ll try Denver here, but I’m probably avoiding this one. The Pioneers need a good bounce-back effort after a flat outing versus CSU Fullerton. Denver was out-rebounded 32-23 in that one and shot just 38.2 percent from the field. Prior to that, the Pioneers had hit 80 or more points in two of the previous three games (all wins).
As for Cal Poly, they were outmuscled on the boards 41-34 and had 18 turnovers in their overtime loss to San Jose State. The Mustangs have given up 77 or more points in five straight games, so Denver should have plenty of scoring opportunities in this one.
