I’m leaning toward Mississippi State. Probably not touching this one, though. The Bulldogs had a close call against a middling McNeese team in their last outing, shooting just 36.5 percent from the field, 27.8 percent from 3-point range, and 69.7 percent (23-of-33) from the line alongside a 39-35 rebounding deficit. The 20 points off 15 Cowboys turnovers was just about the only saving grace for the Bulldogs, but it was still a win. Needless to say, Mississippi State will need a much better-looking performance here.

As for Central Michigan, they had 16 turnovers with a rough 4-of-17 (23.5 percent) from 3-point range in their latest loss to Valparaiso. The Chippewas have been scoring well lately with 70 or more points in five of the last six (a 4-2 run), but it won’t be easy to find scoring on Tuesday.
