The Thunder just won an NBA title and now get to see some of the young guys hoop. There are some players on this OKC roster who could make the team and provide depth in hopes of making another championship run. Nikola Topic leads this roster after missing the season with a torn ACL. Topic was the 12th overall pick in 2024 and will be in the Thunder’s rotation once he’s right. Ajay Mitchell played in 36 games last season, earning one start, and he produced 234 points and 64 assists. Branden Carlson played in 32 games last season and went off in the regular season finale, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. This OKC roster also has Chris Youngblood, an accomplished college player who can shoot the three-ball. The Grizzlies roster as well includes three legit NBA players in Cam Spencer, Jaylen Wells, and GG Jackson. Because of that, I’m leaning with the team that’s getting a free bucket, which is the Grizzlies. You can make a case for both sides with the rosters the way they are. And if anything you can argue Wells is the best player on the floor at this moment given what he did this season. Give me the Grizzlies and the free bucket.
