I had the Pacers in this series before it started, so I’m not surprised by what’s happened and I wouldn’t be surprised if they closed things out. The Pacers are the deeper team and they’ve won 34 games at home. The Pacers haven’t lost two straight games in over two months. I get all of that. However, the Knicks have played their best ball on the road all playoffs, and they’re coming off their best performance of the series.

I believe the Pacers have the pressure to close things out here, as they don’t want to see game 7 in NY. Also, while I don’t want to be conspiracy theorist, we can’t forget about the Lakers – Kings 2002 game 6, where the smaller market team was completely hosed by the refs. A game 7 would do numbers for the league. I want the points in a game the Knicks could win outright if they bring the same energy they had in game 5.
