Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors Player Prop Picks 4/28/25 NBA Picks

The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are set to battle in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:00 PM ET at Chase Center in San Francisco. The Warriors currently lead the series 2-1, after securing a 104-93 win in Game 3 thanks to a strong defensive showing. 

Defense has been the key for Golden State so far, especially in Game 3, where they managed to hold Jalen Green to just nine points after he exploded for 38 points in Game 2. Houston, meanwhile, is struggling offensively, particularly with Fred VanVleet, who is shooting just 26.8% from the field and 20.7% from three through the first three games of the series. A possible boost for the Warriors could come from Jimmy Butler, who missed Game 3 with a pelvic contusion but is expected to return for Game 4.

Steph Curry Over 5.5 Assists

Curry is averaging 6.0 assists per game, totaling 421 assists on the season, while playing 32.2 minutes per game. His assist-to-turnover ratio was approximately 2.1, as he averaged 2.9 turnovers per game alongside his playmaking duties, despite focusing heavily on scoring, where he posted 24.5 points per game. Curry’s ability to create opportunities for teammates kept him among the league’s top facilitators, ranking 20th overall in assists. He’s coming off back-to-back games where he recorded 9 assists in both games. With the amount of attention he’s garnering from Houston defenders, it opens up a lot of opportunities for Curry’s teammates to score. 

Dillon Brooks Over 12.5 Points

Brooks is averaging 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game, while playing 31.8 minutes per contest. His shooting efficiency included a 42.9% field goal percentage and an impressive 39.7% from beyond the arc, along with an 81.8% free throw percentage. ​In the playoffs, Brooks continued to be a reliable presence, averaging 13.3 points. The Rockets have been lacking scoring production from guys like Jalen Green, so they’ve had to rely on their role players to pick up the slack. 

Jonathan Kuminga Under 11.5 Points

Kuminga is averaging 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 45.4% from the field, 30.5% from three-point range, and 66.8% from the free-throw line.  His playing time averaged 24.3 minutes per game.​ Kuminga’s season was notably impacted by a severe ankle sprain in January, which sidelined him for 31 games. Additionally, the midseason acquisition of Jimmy Butler altered the team’s rotation, leading to Kuminga getting fewer minutes in the lineup. With Butler getting back into the lineup for game 4, I’m looking to fade Kuminga in this spot. Even without Butler in the lineup, Kuminga only put up 7 points in game 3.
