The Miami Heat have been in a slump as they've lost five of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat after getting routed by the Thunder in a 115-101 road loss last night. Bam Adebayo led the team with 27 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists on 11 of 19 shooting, Davion Mitchell and Tyler Herro scored 14 points each while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Heat shot 45 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 35 points in the first quarter to take a 21-point lead which had them in full control until the fourth quarter where they went ice-cold and scored just eight points to allow the Thunder to run them down with time to spare. 

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks are starting to heat up as they've won three of their past four games and they will be eager to keep it going after sneaking past the Warriors in a gritty 111-107 home win last night.
