The Los Angeles Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets duke it out at the Spectrum Center on Monday night. Here’s a Los Angeles Lakers vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction. This article will include a Los Angeles Lakers vs Charlotte Hornets Pick.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers have been a team on the rise as they've won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight win after beating the Warriors in a 118-108 road win on Saturday. Anthony Davis led the team with 36 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists on 13 of 23 shooting, LeBron James added 25 points with 12 assists while Austin Reaves chipped in with 16 points and seven assists. As a team, the Lakers shot 54 percent from the field and 10 of 29 from the 3-point line as they started strong and kept a narrow lead for most of the contest before they finally pulled away in the fourth quarter to win comfortably on the road. The Lakers will meet the 76ers and Wizards after this game.
Charlotte Hornets
Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in decent shape as they've won four of their past six games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Pelicans in a 123-92 home win on Saturday. LaMelo Ball led the team with 25 points and seven assists on nine of 21 shooting, Miles Bridges added 22 points while Seth Curry chipped in with 16 points in just 19 minutes off the bench. As a team, the Hornets shot 50 percent from the field and 21 of 50 from the 3-point line as they took control with 63 points in the first half to take the early lead and they just kept their foot on the gas to come away with one of their best wins of the season.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction
The Lakers could be shorthanded again with Gabe Vincent and Rui Hachimura both listed as questionable, while the Hornets are missing Cody Martin for this one. The Lakers could be a little banged up once again, but they are starting to heat up again and they looked great in their win over the Warriors on Saturday, but the Hornets are certainly capable of pulling off the upset if they play anywhere they did in their big win over the Pelicans. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hornets pulled off the upset at home, but I think the Lakers have been the more reliable team and they should be able to get the cover with this modest line.
