Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have been in a real funk as they've lost 13 of their last 16 games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a sixth straight defeat after getting thrashed by the Knicks in a 119-103 road defeat on Wednesday. Collin Sexton led the team with 25 points and five assists on 10 of 13 shooting, Jordan Clarkson added 25 points off the bench while Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks. As a team, the Jazz shot just 40 percent from the field and 13 of 43 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace with the Knicks early on and trailed by 10 points going into halftime. The Jazz did make a bit of a comeback before things got out of hand in the fourth quarter where the Knicks ran away with it.
Miami Heat
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in decent form as they've won four of their past six games, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting thrashed by the Pacers in a 128-115 loss on Thursday. Kel'el Ware led the team in scoring with 25 points on nine of 11 shooting off the bench, Bam Adebayo added 20 points while Tyler Herro chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Heat shot a healthy 57 percent from the field and 11 of 26 from the 3-point line. The Heat weren't at their usual standards on the defensive end as they allowed 38 points in the first quarter and another 41 points in the third quarter.

Utah Jazz vs Miami Heat Prediction
The Jazz could again be missing John Collins, who is questionable for this one, while the Heat have ruled out Josh Richardson once again. The Jazz really haven't much to cheer about all season and they will surely be low on confidence after getting routed by the Knicks in their last outing. The Heat were on a nice run before they got stopped in their tracks by the Pacers in a tough loss on Thursday. The line is a little higher than I thought it would be, but there is just no backing this Jazz team in their current state.
