I’ll lean toward the Rays. Over his last three starts, Littell is on a tear. He’s 3-0 in that trio with zero earned in 18.0 total innings on six hits and one walk. As for Montero, he gave up five in 4.2 innings in Baltimore his last time up but had 14.0 clean frames in a pair of wins prior to that.
On Tuesday the Rays could only find the scoreboard on a Brandon Lowe solo homer in the ninth. Otherwise, it was a couple of RBI given up to Wenceel Perez in the fifth inning in a good pitching effort. Tampa Bay has to get the bats going Wednesday but I think they’ll look better offensively.
