In this article, we will formulate a Rangers vs Mariners prediction for this MLB game on Friday, April 11th, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this MLB matchup.

Texas Rangers Betting Preview

The Texas Rangers are 9-4 this season after they lost two out of three games against the Cubs by scores of 0-7, 6-10, and 6-2. In the third win, the Rangers were tied at one in the fourth inning, but they scored the next five runs in the game to pull away with the win. Texas recorded 11 hits in the game, and they were led by Seager, who went 2-5 with two home runs and two RBIs in the win. The Rangers started Mahle, who allowed two hits and one earned run over 7.0 innings, while Garcia allowed one hit and one earned run over 1.1 innings of relief work.

Prior to that series, the Rangers swept the Rays in three games and won two out of three against the Reds. The Texas pitching staff has a 3.47 ERA with a 1.14 WHIP and a .224 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 45 runs with a .207 batting average and a .269 on base percentage this year. Wyatt Langford has led Texas with four home runs and six RBIs, while Jonah Heim has added three home runs and seven RBIs this season. The projected starting pitcher for Texas is Jacob deGrom, who is 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP over 10.2 innings pitched this season.

Seattle Mariners Betting Preview

The Seattle Mariners are 5-8 this year after they won two out of three against Houston by scores of 4-3, 1-2, and 7-6. In that game three win, the Mariners trailed 5-0 in the eighth inning, but they scored four in the eighth and three in the ninth for the dramatic win. Seattle recorded seven hits, and they committed two errors in the game, while they were led by Arozarena, who went 2-3 with one home run, five RBIs, and one walk. Seattle started Luis F. Castillo, who allowed six hits and three earned runs, while Lawrence allowed four hits and two earned runs but still got the win.

Prior to that series, the Mariners were swept by the Giants and lost two out of three against the Tigers. The Seattle pitching staff has a 3.89 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP and a .246 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 44 runs with a .200 batting average and a .303 on-base percentage this season. Randy Arozarena has led Seattle with three home runs and nine RBIs, while Julio Rodriguez has added three home runs and seven RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for Seattle is Bryce Miller, who is 0-2 with a 5.73 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP over 11.0 innings pitched this season.

Rangers vs Mariners Prediction

Seattle comes into this matchup after escaping with a dramatic series win over Houston, and maybe that will wake up their offense, which hasn’t been very good. On the other side, Texas has also struggled to score runs, but they have scored six runs in three of their last five games. The Rangers have the pitching advantage in this contest, as deGrom has looked very good through two starts, and I don’t have any faith in this Seattle offense, despite their last performance. Take Texas to get the game one win here.
