Minnesota Twins Recap

The Minnesota Twins come into this one looking to build on their series-opening 4-2 win over Boston from Friday’s matchup. The win put the Twins in a good spot to bounce back from their series losses to the Guardians and Reds over the last week and a half.

Twins vs. Red Sox Prediction

I’m backing the Twins for the doubleheader sweep here. Lopez is just the better pitcher hands down in game one and as much as Nick Pivetta’s been able to provide value in spots, I just think he’s overmatched here. In game two, I haven’t been the biggest fan of Zebby Matthews, but Crawford’s taken the loss in each of his last six starts and I don’t think that’s an accident. I think the Twins are the better team with all of the motivation in the world here so give me Minnesota.
