To fix their defensive identity, the front office made massive moves in the offseason to bring back Nneka Ogwumike alongside veteran defender Ariel Atkins. Pairing these proven veterans with Dearica Hamby and a healthy Cameron Brink, who is hoping to have her ACL injury in the past, gives teh Sparks one of the deeper frontcourts in the WNBA. I just don’t think the Aces stay down for long especially when you get a sluggish offensive showing like the one we saw on Saturday, while this is the best and healthiest version of the Los Angeles Sparks we’ve seen in some time.
