Buffalo Sabres Betting Preview

The Buffalo Sabres are up 3-2 in this series after they won three of the first five games by scores of 4-3, 2-4, 3-1, 6-1, and 1-2 (OT). The Sabres have won seven of their last ten games and they finished first in the Atlantic standings with 109 points. Buffalo scored 3.45 goals per game and they allowed 2.93 goals against per game, while also going 19.5% on the power play and 81.9% on the penalty kill this season. The projected starting goalie for Buffalo is Alex Lyon, who was 20-10-4 with a 2.77 goals against average and a .907 save percentage this season.

Sabres vs Bruins Prediction

Buffalo comes into this matchup looking to close out the series, but they lost game five and they will be on the road. The Sabres were 24-13-4 on the road this year, while the Bruins were 29-11-1 at home. Boston has scored two goals or fewer in three straight games and they really need their power play to step up. I do think Buffalo is the better team, but Boston finally has some momentum and I think they will win on home ice. Take the Bruins here.

David Racey's Pick: Bruins ML
