Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview

Baltimore kicked off their 2024 campaign with a couple of losses, falling to the Chiefs and Raiders. The Ravens would hit a winning streak after that, however, winning their next four over the Cowboys, Bills, Bengals, and Commanders.

In Monday’s game versus the Buccaneers, the Ravens scored 17 points in both the second and third quarters during a 41-31 win. QB Lamar Jackson finished with 281 yards and a whopping five touchdowns through the air. Rashod Bateman led the receivers with four grabs for 121 yards and a TD.

Cleveland Browns Betting Preview

Over on the Cleveland side, they managed to beat the Jaguars 18-13 in game two, but aside from that their first six games were all futile endeavors. The Browns lost to the Cowboys, Giants, Raiders, Commanders, and Eagles otherwise.

On Sunday versus Cincinnati, the Browns scored eight unanswered points in the fourth quarter but still lost 21-14. Deshaun Watson finished with 128 passing yards, and Cedric Tillman led the receivers on eight grabs for 81 yards. Nick Chubb also logged a rush score.

Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns Prediction

I’ll go with Baltimore. The Ravens had some wild stats (both good and bad) in their Monday win over Tampa Bay, but they got the job done. Baltimore posted 508 total yards (264 passing) with 9.4 yards per play and 22 first downs. The nine penalties didn’t help matters, though. On defense, the Ravens gave up 481 yards (356 passing) with 29 first downs and a stellar 12-of-18 on third-down tries. Honestly, Baltimore’s defense should have a much easier time here.

As for Cleveland, they had a pretty rough loss against the Bengals last weekend despite holding Cincinnati to just 223 yards (164 passing), 12 first downs, and 2-of-13 on third-down tries. The Browns also put up a couple of interceptions and had 10 penalties in the defeat. Cleveland hasn’t scored more than 18 points in any game this year so it’s tough to trust them right now.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Baltimore Ravens -9.5
