Sacramento Kings Betting Preview
The Kings have made the playoffs once in the last 20 years and enter the third season under coach Doug Christie. After just 22 wins last season, the Kings will take what they can get at this point.
The Kings watched DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook leave, and they drafted Darius Acuff. Ben Simmons looked promising in preseason and then tore his Achilles. Some jokes just write themselves, folks. The Kings have been arguably the worst run franchise in sports for decades, and very little changes year to year. Now, there’s talent on this roster that includes Zach LaVine, Domantas Sabonis, and Acuff has star potential. However, the Kings are the Kings and will forever be the Kings until they’re not. Wins will be tough to come by for this group, and a fire sale that leads to a build around Acuff won’t be surprising in a few months.
LA Clippers Betting Preview
The Clippers missed the playoffs last season and enter year seven under coach Tyronn Lue. The Clippers haven’t missed the playoffs in two straight seasons since the 2010-11 season.
The Clippers traded Kawhi Leonard and received Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick in return. Adding Rui Hachimura and Max Strus can’t go unnoticed. The Clippers were also handed down significant penalties that will impact this franchise for years to come. Darius Garland gets his chance to lead a team, and maybe the corpse of Bradley Beal can regain some value at some point. The Clippers simply lack a star and top-end talent to be taken seriously in the West. Throw in the draft capital losses and ownership restrictions, and this entire franchise has been covered with a wet blanket. My expectations for this Clippers team are low, and I wouldn’t be shocked if they’re the worst team in the West.

The Clippers will be without Bradley Beal, Brandon Ingram, Jordan Miller, Max Strus, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser.
Sacramento Kings vs LA Clippers Prediction
I don’t like the Kings as much as the next guy, as they’re one of the worst-run franchises in all of sports. They’re a joke. However, I’m not sure what the Clippers have done to lay these sorts of numbers. The Clippers lost talent this offseason and enter this game with rotation guys out. No Beal, Ingram, or Strus. This available roster is nasty. Even a team like the Kings will have their chance to win this game. I’m not laying this number with the Clippers. I’m sorry. Give me the buckets with the Kings.
