Miami Heat Betting Preview
The Miami Heat have been in pretty good form as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after running past the Bulls in a 143-107 road win on Friday. Kel’el Ware led the team with 20 points and 14 rebounds on eight of 15 shooting, Norman Powell added 19 points, Bam Adebayo tallied 18 points with seven rebounds and five assists while Davion Mitchell and Pelle Larsson each scored 16 points. As a team, the Heat shot 47 percent from the field and 14 of 38 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 70 points in the first half and they just never took their foot off the gas to scorch the Bulls and earn their biggest blowout win of the season so far.
Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in a rut as they’ve lost five of their last nine games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after outlasting the Bucks in a 123-114 overtime road win on Thursday. Tyrese Maxey led the way with a season-high 54 points and nine assists on 18 of 30 shooting, Paul George added 21 points on seven of 12 shooting while Quentin Grimes chipped in with 14 points and four assists off the bench. As a team, the 76ers shot 43 percent from the field and 18 of 53 from the 3-point line as they rallied their way back from an early 13-point deficit to force overtime where they were always trailing after allowing the 76ers to score the first five points.

The Heat are still missing Tyler Herro, Andrew Wiggisn and Nikola Jovic, while the 76ers have ruled out Kelly Oubre Jr and Joel Embiid with VJ Edgecombe listed as questionable. The Heat come into this meeting as the team clearly in better form over the past couple weeks and they just smashed the Bulls by 36 points in their last outing, but the 76ers were able to pull off a nice overtime win over the Bucks on Thursday thanks to a monster game from Maxey who poured in 54 points. It’s tempting to go with the 76ers and the hot hand of Maxey, but with the injury cloud hanging over Edgecombe, I prefer a play on the Heat as the slight underdogs in this spot.
