The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors collide in Game 4 at the Scotiabank Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview
The Cleveland Cavaliers were brimming with confidence after winning the first two games of the series rather comfortably, but this series got interesting in Game 3 where the Cavaliers fell well short in a 126-104 road defeat on Thursday. James Harden led the team with 18 points on five of 13 shooting, Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell each scored 15 points while Jarrett Allen chipped in with 12 points and three blocks. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 44 percent from the field and 14 of 45 from the 3-point line as they overcame a slow start and were right in the contest midway through the fourth quarter before they allowed the Raptors to close the final 8:31 on a 35-14 run. James Harden had a rough game as he tallied eight turnovers, while Dennis Schroder and Sam Merrill each scored just three points.
Toronto Raptors Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors needed to respond after coming up empty in the first two games of the series and they did just that with an impressive 126-104 home win in Game 3 on Thursday. Scottie Barnes led the team with 33 points and 11 assists, RJ Barrett added 33 points and five assists on 12 of 19 shooting while Collin Murray-Boyles chipped in with 22 points on 11 of 15 shooting off the bench. As a team, the Raptors shot 57 percent from the field and 14 of 23 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early lead and it looked like the game was up for grabs midway through the fourth quarter, before the Raptors caught fire and scored just 35 points in the final 8:31 to run past the Cavaliers and make it look easy in the end.
Cleveland v Toronto Free Prediction
The Raptors are still missing Immanuel Quickley and they are keeping an eye on AJ Lawson who is a game time decision, while the Cavaliers are coming in with a full squad once again. The Cavaliers will be annoyed with themselves as they missed on a crucial chance to take a commanding 3-0 series lead, but they had a rough night on offense and eventually got punished in the fourth quarter to suffer their first defeat of the series. The Raptors were good enough to get the much needed win on Thursday, but they’re going to have to be even better to square up the series as I don’t see the Cavaliers struggling again in this series like they did in Game 3. I expect the veterans like Harden and Mitchell to bounce back after a quiet game and I think the Cavaliers leave Toronto with a 3-1 series lead.
