San Diego Padres vs Boston Red Sox Prediction
I’ll stay with the Red Sox I suppose. Houck is pitching pretty well lately—and most of the year overall. In his last three starts combined Houck is 1-0 with seven earned in 18.1 innings total. As for King, he’s coming off five earned over 6.0 innings in a loss to the Brewers but was pitching pretty well before that.
On Friday the Red Sox had a pretty middling night offensively with Rafael Devers’ solo homer and Ceddanne Rafaela’s three hits being the highlights. The ugly fifth inning was another story altogether. Boston should be able to bounce back, though.
