Pittsburgh Pirates vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction

I’ll lean toward the Reds. Lowder had a spotty outing versus Minnesota in his last start, taking a loss with three earned in 5.1 innings. Over his two starts prior, however, Lowder was 1-0 with no earned in 11.1 innings. As for Jones, he’s 1-0 with seven earned over 17.1 innings in his last three outings.

On Friday the Reds had a couple of big offensive performances in the big win. There were plenty of hiccups, however, including the bullpen (3.0 innings; three earned). Cincinnati is going to have to improve across the board Saturday.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Cincinnati Reds -109
