The Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers will meet on Sunday afternoon in the final game of a three‑game National League series at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Philadelphia Phillies Betting Preview

The Philadelphia Phillies enter Sunday’s contest with a 38–32 overall record (2nd in the National League East) and a 19–15 mark on the road. The Phillies offense has been inconsistent this season. Through 70 games played in 2026, Philadelphia has compiled 285 runs scored (25th in MLB), 92 doubles, 88 home runs and a .229 team batting average which ranks a rather low 27th in Major League Baseball.

The Phillies arrive at tomorrow’s game in good form. Philadelphia has won four of the team’s last six games played this season, including a 7-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays three days ago.

Philadelphia will turn to left hander Cristopher Sanchez in this contest. In 14 starts made this season, Sanchez has compiled a robust 8–2 win‑loss record, a 1.54 ERA (2nd in MLB), a 1.06 WHIP and a whopping 113 strikeouts which ranks second in Major League Baseball, while allowing 81 hits and 18 walks in 93.1 innings pitched. Sanchez will look to continue his recent dominance on the mound in tomorrow’s matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Phillies lineup features first baseman Bryce Harper and outfielder Brandon Marsh. Bryce Harper enters this contest with a .260 batting average, 15 home runs (18th in MLB), 12 doubles, 44 walks, 39 RBIs and an .873 OPS. Brandon Marsh has amassed a rather impressive .328 batting average (5th in MLB), 8 home runs, 32 RBIs, 6 stolen bases and an .861 OPS which is ranked 12th in Major League Baseball.

Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview

The Milwaukee Brewers enter Sunday afternoon’s matchup with a 42–26 overall record (1st in the National League Central) and a 22-14 record at home. The Brewers arrive at this contest in below average form. Milwaukee has lost three of the team’s last four games played this season, including 7-5 loss to the Athletics earlier this week.

Milwaukee will start left hander Kyle Harrison in tomorrow’s game. In 12 starts made this season, Harrison has compiled a 7–1 record, a 2.72 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and 77 strikeouts, while allowing 51 hits and 18 walks in 59.2 innings pitched.

Turning our attention to the Milwaukee offense, the Brewers lineup features catcher William Contreras and second baseman Brice Turang. Contreras enters this contest with a .291 batting average, 6 home runs, 11 doubles, 24 walks, 43 RBIs and a .755 OPS. Brice Turang has amassed a .261 batting average, 10 home runs, 47 walks, 42 RBIs and an .835 OPS.

Why the Philadelphia Phillies will win.

• Starting pitching advantage. Cristopher Sanchez has compiled an 8–2 win‑loss record, a 1.54 ERA (2nd in MLB), a 1.06 WHIP and a whopping 113 strikeouts which ranks second in Major League Baseball.

• Offensive upside. Bryce Harper and Brandon Marsh continue to anchor the Phillies lineup.

• Ability to win on the road. The Philadelphia Phillies has amassed a 19-15 record on the road.

Why the Milwaukee Brewers will win.

• Starting pitching strength. Kyle Harrison has compiled a 7-1 record and a 2.72 ERA in 59.2 innings pitched.

• Home field advantage. Milwaukee has played strong baseball at American Family Field posting a 22-14 record.

• Offensive consistency. William Contreras and Brice Turang provide a strong core to the Brewers lineup.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Milwaukee Brewers

In my view, this matchup favors the Philadelphia Phillies. Why? Philadelphia starting pitcher Cristopher Sanchez has pitched at a high level posting an 8-2 record, a 1.54 ERA and 113 strikeouts which ranks second in Major League Baseball. Conversely, Milwaukee hurler Kyle Harrison struggled in his last outing, allowing 8 earned runs in the Athletics 15-14 win over the Brewers. Harrison’s recent issues in his last start are a concern facing a strong Phillies lineup. With that said, I am backing the Philadelphia Phillies on the moneyline in this game.
