I’ll lean toward the Yankees but the line’s too thick to mess with. Cole is finding his form lately and doing well in the stats columns. In his last three starts combined Cole is 2-0 with just one earned run in 17.1 total innings. As for Corbin, he’s coming off a victory versus Colorado with one earned run in 6.0 frames.
On Monday the Yankees had a pretty solid all-around offensive evening but three of their five RBI came from solo homers. Pitching-wise New York was pretty great as well; Mark Leiter (0.2 innings; one earned) was the only hiccup in the bullpen. The Yankees should be in great shape for game two but I’m probably not going near this one.
