On Tuesday in the opener versus the Mets, the Marlins powered out a 4-2 victory. Starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo left after 5.2 innings, two earned, four hits and a walk.

I’ll try the Marlins here. Garrett needs a bounce-back start, though. In his last outing Garrett took a loss versus the Rays with five earned in 2.2 innings. Prior to that however, Garrett had just one earned run in 14.0 innings. As for Peterson, he’s given up four earned runs in his first 11.2 innings so far.
On Tuesday the Marlins had a tepid five team hits but it was enough behind the solid pitching performance. Miami got 3.1 innings, no earned, no hits, one walk and four strikeouts from their bullpen. Another outing like that will set the Marlins up nicely.
