In this article, we will formulate a Giants vs Marlins prediction for this MLB game on Friday, May 30th at loanDepot park in Miami, Florida. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this MLB matchup.

San Francisco Giants Betting Preview

The San Francisco Giants are 31-25 this season after they lost all three games against the Tigers by scores of 1-3, 1-3, and 3-4. In their game three loss, San Francisco scored the first three runs in the game, but they went scoreless in the final four innings for the loss. The Giants recorded 10 hits and they committed one error in the game, while they were led by Ramos, who went 3-5 with one home run and two RBIs in the loss. SF started Roupp, who allowed five hits and one earned run over 4.0 innings, while Rodriguez, Rogers, and Walker combined for 4.0 scoreless innings.

Prior to that series, the Giants won two out of three against the Nationals, but lost two out of three against the Royals before that. San Francisco has lost four of their last five games, and they are currently third in the NL West standings. The San Francisco pitching staff has a 3.22 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP, and a .234 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 242 runs with a .231 batting average and a .309 on-base percentage this season. Wilmer Flores has led San Francisco with 10 home runs and 45 RBIs, while Matt Chapman has added nine home runs and 25 RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for San Francisco is Kyle Harrison, who is 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP over 9.1 innings pitched this season.

Miami Marlins Betting Preview

The Miami Marlins are 22-32 this year after they lost two out of three against San Diego by scores of 3-4, 6-8, and 10-8. In their game three win, Miami trailed 6-1 in the fourth inning, but they scored nine of the last eleven runs in the game for the win. The Marlins recorded 13 hits and they committed one error in the game, while they were led by Ramirez, who went 4-5 with one home run and four RBIs in the win. Miami started Alcantara, who allowed seven hits and six earned runs over 4.0 innings, while Henriquez picked up the win and Faucher got the save.

Prior to that series, the Marlins won two out of three against the Angels, but lost two out of three against the Cubs before that. Miami has won three of its last five games, and they are currently last in the NL East standings. The Miami pitching staff has a 5.29 ERA with a 1.46 WHIP and a .262 opponent batting average, while the offense has scored 229 runs with a .251 batting average and a .315 on-base percentage this season. Kyle Stowers has led Miami with 10 home runs and 32 RBIs, while Agustin Ramirez has added seven home runs and 17 RBIs this year. The projected starting pitcher for Miami is Cal Quantrill, who is 3-4 with a 6.09 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP over 44.1 innings pitched this year.

Giants vs Marlins Prediction

San Francisco comes into this series after a tough sweep against the Tigers, and they will look to turn things around, but they are just 14-16 on the road this year. Miami is 13-15 at home, but they have won three of their last five games overall. The Marlins are starting Quantrill, who has allowed one earned run in three of his last four starts. The Giants are starting Harrison, who has been mostly used out of the bullpen, but did allow two earned runs and five hits over four innings in his last start. I don’t love how the San Francisco offense is hitting right now, and Quantrill has been better, so give me the Marlins at home.
