I’ll take a stab on Tarleton State but you could call it either way. The Texans didn’t have much issue with Florida A&M in their last game, shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 17-of-23 (73.9 percent) from the line and 5-of-10 from 3-point range alongside 37 rebounds. The only major blemish was the 19 turnovers. The Texans have now won four straight with 78 or more points scored in each of those victories.
As for Texas-Arlington, they held Oral Roberts in check with just 30.9 percent shooting from the field and 2-of-20 from 3-point range in their latest victory. The Mavericks have been pretty good on defense lately; they’ve given up fewer than 62 points in each of their last three wins. That said, they’ve also surrendered some pretty solid points totals to good offenses this year as well.
