William & Mary has been scoring great during this current 8-1 run. They’ve put up 74 or more points in all nine of those games, and 82 or more points in eight of them.
As for Stony Brook, they couldn’t topple a middling Hampton team in their last outing thanks mostly to 16 turnovers and a 30-26 deficit in the paint. The Seawolves missed 11 of 20 free throws (45 percent) as well, but shot a solid 45.7 percent from the field to keep themselves in the game. Still, that makes three straight losses for Stony Brook, and they’ve finished below 60 points in all three of them.
