Miami-Ohio RedHawks Betting Preview
The RedHawks only have four games in the bag so far, with mixed results. After a 77-63 win over Appalachian State in their opener, Miami-OH lost to Wright State 81-68 before another win versus MD Eastern Shore 88-70.
Last Monday versus Michigan, the RedHawks were down by eight points at the break. Miami-OH didn’t get any better from there on a 50-31 deficit and lost 94-67. Eian Elmer finished with 14 points and four rebounds in 27 minutes of work.
Siena Saints Betting Preview
Over on the Siena side, they got off to a nice start this year with three straight wins. The Saints took out Brown, Bryant, and American in pretty close finishes during that trio. Game four was a 70-60 loss to Albany, though.
Matched up against Xavier on Wednesday, the Saints were demolished 44-28 in the first half and 36-27 in the second for an 80-55 defeat. Reid Ducharme topped the team in the losing effort with 15 points and three rebounds.

- Siena has won the first half in four of its last five games against non-conference opponents at neutral venues.

- Miami (OH) has won the first half in four of its last five day games.
Miami-OH vs Siena Prediction
I’ll probably just lean toward Siena. Both teams are coming off blowout losses and could use a good showing here, though. The Saints shot a tepid 41.7 percent from the field in their loss to Xavier with just 9-of-20 (45 percent) from the line and 15 turnovers. That said, Siena did stay competitive on the boards. The Saints have scored just 115 combined points in their last pair, however, so a good total here would be nice.
As for Miami-OH, they gave up 58.3 percent shooting with a 44-23 rebounding deficit in their last game versus Michigan. The RedHawks have given up 70 or more points in three straight games so I like this one to be a fairly high-scoring affair. In the end, I think Siena controls things, though.
