Furman Paladins Betting Preview
The Paladins have been on a nice run so far with six straight wins—and only one close finish. Furman beat Belmont 76-74 in game two, but otherwise, they’ve taken out CIU, Jacksonville, Tulane, Oglethorpe, and Charleston Southern by nine points or more each.
In their latest matchup versus Charleston Southern, the Paladins held a 12-point edge at halftime. Furman cruised on a 33-24 advantage from there in a 67-46 win. Nick Anderson put up 14 points in the victory while Peay Smith added 13 points.
Seattle Redhawks Betting Preview
Over on the Seattle side, they lost their first three games of the season. Those defeats came courtesy of Eastern Washington, Liberty, and Cal Poly. The Redhawks have since found the win column versus UC San Diego and Northwest, however.
On Friday versus Northwest, the Redhawks went into the break with an eight-point lead. Seattle improved on a 42-22 second-half run and took the win 80-52. Tops in scoring was Paris Dawson with 16 points and four assists alongside three boards.

Furman vs Seattle Prediction
I’m going to stay with Furman. The Paladins have been pretty impressive so far and they’re coming off a fairly easy win over a struggling Charleston Southern team. Furman posted their lowest points total of the year in that one (67) and shot just 4-of-14 (28.6 percent) from the line but did get some court time for just about everybody on the roster. The Paladins have hit 75 or more points in five of six games this season.
As for Seattle, they’ve given up some fairly healthy points totals—71 or more in three of five games. The Redhawks have scored 71 or more points in four of five themselves, which bodes well for this matchup. With that in mind, since Furman has gotten off to such a hot start I like them to cover/win here. (So long as the Paladins aren’t looking past this game to their looming road matchup against Kansas on Saturday, that is.)
