In this article, we will formulate a Chicago Sky vs Dallas Aces Prediction for this WNBA Game on Wednesday, May 15th at the College Park Center. To formulate this prediction, we will examine:
-The Sky recent form and recent player performance
-The Wings recent form and recent play performance
-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for today’s game between the Sky and Wings.
Wings Betting Preview
One of the big problems early in the season for the Wings could be injuries. Satou Sabally is expected to be out until near the Olympic break because of a shoulder injury. She is the star of the team and not having her is a big loss. The good news is they still have Arike Ogunbowale, who they are going to need to lean on. The Wings played only one preseason game, and they were able to beat the Indiana Fever 79-76. Jaelyn Brown had a strong game, putting up 21 points and five rebounds. Ogunbowale also put up 19 points, three rebounds, and three assists. In this game, the Wings are going to need to get the offense out to a fast start to really try to put the pressure on.
Sky Betting Preview
The Sky have coach Teresa Weatherspon and the hope is she is going to be able to get the most out of this team. The Sky drafted Angel Reese, who had quite the college career, and there is going to be a lot of pressure on her. In the first preseason game against the Minnesota Lynx the Sky were defeated 92-81 and in the last game against the New York Liberty they were able to win 101-53. The offense was impressive, but even better was the defense that stepped up. Reese had a strong game in the last one, putting up 13 points while shooting 6-10 from the field. She finished a +32. There were four different players that finished with at least 11 points.
Chicago Sky vs Dallas Wings Prediction
The Sky looked quite impressive in the last game and I expect they are going to find success again in this game. The injury for the Wings is a major problem, and they are going to really struggle in this game to score. Reese is going to have another big game here, and that will be the difference here, as the Sky are going to get the job done. Back the Sky against the spread here.
