The Dallas Wings and Minnesota Lynx face off on Thursday in a WNBA showdown at College Park Center. These two teams just faced off on Tuesday and it was the Lynx that were able to secure the 91-68 victory.
There were a lot of heated moments between both teams on Tuesday and it will be interesting to see if that carries over in this game.
Lynx Betting Preview
The Lynx sit with a 16-17 record overall and although they almost blew the game late on Tuesday they were able to hang on for the victory. Naphessa Collier has been the x-factor all year for this team and on Tuesday she had another strong game finishing with 29 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. The Lynx are averaging 79.8 points while their defense is giving up 84.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 9th in the league while the defense is ranked 10th best. Collier is averaging 21.5 points while shooting 48.3 percent from the field and 31.1 percent from behind the three point line.
Wings Betting Preview
On the other side of this matchup is the Wings who sit with an 18-15 record overall and although they almost made the comeback on Tuesday, it wasn’t enough. They were outscored 18-11 in the 1st quarter, and they weren’t ever able to bounce back from that. The Wings are averaging 86.9 points while their defense is giving up 84 points per game. The offense is ranked 3rd best in the WNBA while the defense is ranked 9th. In this game the defense needs to step up or it’s going to be a long game.
Shane’s Free Pick
The Lynx won on Tuesday but I think the end of the game really fired up the Wings and they are going to find a whole lot more success in this game. The Lynx defense is going to really struggle here, and the Wings are going to be running up the score. The Wings will score at least 90 points, and they are going to get the job done. Back the Wings against the spread.
Shane’s Pick Wings ATS
