The Chicago Sky and New York Liberty face off on Sunday in a WNBA showdown at the Barclays Center. These two teams faced off on Friday and it was the Liberty that were able to secure the 77-76 victory.

The Sky sit with a 3-3 record and even though they lost the last game against the Liberty, they looked good. They were outscored 21-17 in the 4th quarter though, and that led to the onle point loss. Kahleah Copper had a strong game finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds. The Sky are averaging 76 points while their defense is giving up 75.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 11th while the defense is ranked 4th. Going forward the offense is going to need to be a whole lot better. Kahleah Cooper is having a strong season averaging 15.5 points while shooting 37.5 percent from the field.

On the other side of this matchup is the Liberty who sit with a 4-1 record and anything less than winning the WNBA Finals will be a major disappointment. It took a big 4th quarter in the last game to secure the one point victory. Breanna Stewart scored 19 points and grabbed another 11 rebounds. The Liberty is averaging 79.6 points while their defense is giving up 74.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 6th best in the league while the defense is currently the best in the WNBA. Stewart is having quite the season averaging 24.4 points while shooting 51.9 percent from the field.

The Sky know to find success in this game they need to control the pace and the defense is going to need to be good.
