The Dallas Wings and Minnesota Lynx face off in their 12th game of the WNBA season inside the bubble at IMG Academy on Wednesday.
The Dallas Wings haven’t been terrible this season but coming into this game they have lost three of the last four games. The one win during that stretch was in their last game against the Phoenix Mercury, a game they scored 95 points in. In the last game it was Arike Ogunbowale who was the star of the show putting up 33 points, five rebounds, and three assists. On the season the Wings are averaging 79.2 points per game.
The best player all season has been Ogunbowale who comes into this game averaging 21.5 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game. In this game the Wings are going to need to try and run up the score and make life tough on the Lynx’s offense.
On the other side of this matchup is the Minnesota Lynx who have dealt with injuries this season but they have still found success. Even though the Lynx were banged up in the last game. They were still able to beat the Lynx 94-64. In the Lynx last game it was Napheesa Collier who was the best player hitting 26 points and 13 rebounds. The Lynx are coming into this game averaging 80.3 points while giving up 75.1 points. One problem for the Lynx is they don’t have Sylvia Fowles who is dealing with injuries, and since she is the heart of the team, that is a big loss.
The best player who will be playing in this game for the Lynx has been Collier who is averaging 14,9 points and nine rebounds. In this game the Lynx are going to need Collier to be good but they also need others to step up.
The Lynx were competitive in the last game and that is going to be the case again in this one. Look for the Lynx’s offense to be strong and they will cover the spread in this game.
Shane’s Pick Lynx ATS
