Cameron Norrie reached back-to-back finals in Metz after a hard-fought semifinal victory against Lorenzo Sonego. Norrie lost the first set to the Italian in 41 minutes, dropping his serve in the third game. But after saving some early break points at the start of the second set, Norrie broke Sonego to lead 3-1. The Briton got a second break in the eighth game to take the second set 6-2. There was nothing to separate them in the third set until the 10th game, when Sonego was broken to 15 while serving to stay in the match.
