Oceane Dodin is making her sixth appearance at the WTA 125K in Limoges. She first played in this event over a decade ago and made the semis on her debut, losing to compatriot Kristina Mladenovic. But in her last four visits, she has reached the last 16 twice and lost in the first round on two occasions, including last year when she fell to Celine Naef in straight sets.After a long injury hiatus, Dodin returned to the tennis courts in late September and competed in four ITF tournaments, achieving two quarterfinal finishes. Last week, she was in action at the Angers Challenger, where she lost to two-time champion Alycia Parks in three tight sets. Dodin is currently ranked outside the top 700.
Tiphanie Lemaitre is ranked 337th in the WTA rankings, which is just four spots below her career high mark. Lemaitre has never broken into the top 300 and majorly plays her tennis on the ITF circuit, where she has compiled 29 wins and 22 losses this season. Lemaitre has reached three finals at the ITF level in 2025, finishing runner-up each time.
In her last five matches, Lemaitre has won just once. It’s been nearly a month since she played a competitive match, and that was at the Funchal ITF, where she was knocked out in the opening round by Guerrero Alvarez. The 25-year-old is making her second appearance in Limoges. She was eliminated in qualifying when she last played in this event two seasons ago.
