Jannik Sinner will face Alexander Zverev in the semifinals of the 2026 Miami Open on Friday, March 27. Here’s our Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev prediction. This preview will also include a Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev pick.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Preview

Jannik Sinner is coming off another straight sets win, this time against American Frances Tiafoe, to maintain his chances of winning the Sunshine Double. Right from the start, Sinner meant business as he broke Tiafoe’s serve in the opening game. He got the insurance in the fifth game to lead 4-1 and just a couple of games later, he wrapped up the set 6-2 with a love hold.

In the second set, Sinner broke Tiafoe’s serve twice and finished the match with another love hold. The Italian dropped just a meagre nine points on serve in the match. Sinner hit 14 aces to one double fault in the victory. He won 83% of first serve points (25/30) and 69% of second serve points (9/13). Sinner did not face a break point in the match.

Alexander Zverev dispatched 18th seed Francisco Cerundolo to make the Miami Open semifinals for the third time. Zverev was expected to encounter a huge test against the in-form Cerundolo, who took out Daniil Medvedev earlier in the tournament, but wasted no time in powering past the Argentine in straight sets.

The match took 15 games to decide and lasted an hour and 6 minutes. In the victory, Zverev hit 4 aces and one double fault. He landed 76% of first serves in play and won 84% of first serve points (27/32). Zverev won 70% of second serve points (7/10) and did not face a break point on serve in the match. Zverev improves to 15-4 for the season. He has previously reached one Miami Open final, losing to John Isner in 2018.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Head-To-Head

Sinner leads Zverev 7-4 in the head-to-head. Sinner has won six successive matches against the German and beat him in straight sets at the Indian Wells Masters two weeks ago.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Prediction

There is just no stopping Jannik Sinner at the moment as he eyes more history. He’s won his last 10 matches in straight sets. He’s also won his last 30 sets at a Masters 1000 tournament, which is a new record. Sinner is in a league of his own this swing. Unless he completely capitulates physically (which occasionally happens, but it doesn’t look likely after taking his time to address the issue in the last few years), then he’s nailed on to make the final.

Nur Said's Pick: Jannik Sinner in straight sets
