Alexander Blockx vs Nicolai Budkov Kjaer Preview
Alexander Blockx maintained his perfect record at the 2025 Next Gen ATP Finals with another commanding display in his final group match. Blockx beat Croatia’s Dino Prizmic in four sets and thereby eliminated him from the tournament.
Blockx won his third tiebreak set of the week to take a one-set lead. Although Prizmic shortly leveled the match in the second set, the Belgian big server dropped just two more games in the next two sets to wrap up a 4-3, 2-4, 4-2, 4-0 victory in under two hours. Blockx finished top of the group with three wins.
Nicolai Budkov Kjaer lost his 100% winning record in the tournament after being defeated by Learner Tien in the final group match. The Norwegian won his first two matches against Martin Landaluce and Rafael Jodar to sit top of the Blue Group.
After taking the first set against Tien, Budkov Kjaer confirmed his spot in the semifinals. But he could not complete victory over the American lefty who rallied to win the match in four sets and overtake Budkov Kjaer in top spot in the group. Both players, however, qualified for the semifinals and Jodar’s straight-sets win over Landaluce did not suffice.

Alexander Blockx vs Nicolai Budkov Kjaer Prediction
Blockx has played a phenomenal tournament this week and looks unstoppable. The Belgian’s serve has done a lot of damage. He’s been broken just three times and saved 19 of 22 break points in three matches. Additionally, his movement has been stellar, defending with great composure and efficiency. Back Blockx to capitalize on his incredible form and power to the finals.
