Casper Ruud’s title defense is still on. The Norwegian survived a three-set dogfight against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the last 16. The match lasted three hours and featured three tiebreak sets. There were no breaks in the first two sets, but Tsitsipas went ahead in the final set when he broke Ruud and consolidated for a 4-2 lead. The young Belgian broke serve twice in the second set to wrap up a 7-6, 6-2 win.
