Jodar is riding an eight-match win streak, while the ever-improving Fils has racked up 10 wins since the start of March. Fils starts as the favorite. He has a higher ceiling and is a higher-ranked player with a proven record against stronger opposition. But Jodar has nothing to lose and is has bags of confidence. He also gets a boost from playing on home soil. I’ll take a swing on the upset and pick Jodar to edge this in three hard-fought sets.
