Alexander Zverev will face British wild card Arthur Fery in the Wimbledon semifinals on Friday, July 10th. Zverev is chasing his second consecutive Grand Slam final after winning the French Open last month. For the soon-to-be British No. 1 Fery, he is in uncharted waters. Here’s our Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fery prediction. This preview will include an Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fery pick.

Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fery Preview

Alexander Zverev snapped his long losing streak against Taylor Fritz to reach the Wimbledon semifinals for the first time. Zverev delivered a fine straight sets display 6-4, 6-4, 62 in under two hours for his first win over Fritz since 2024.

In the victory, Zverev planted 29 winners and hit 15 unforced errors. He hammered 14 aces and 2 double faults. Zverev landed 77% of first serves in play and won 77% of first serve points (46/60). He won 72% of second serve points and saved all four break points he faced in the match.

Before this round, Zverev earned wins over Alexander Blockx, Valentin Royer, Marcos Giron and Jiri Lehecka. He has dropped just two sets in the tournament and is currently riding a 12-match winning streak in Grand Slams after breaking his duck at the French Open.

Meeting Zverev is the unlikely wild card Arthur Fery, who is the lone British man still standing in the Wimbledon singles tournament. Fery has enjoyed a breakthrough fortnight at the All England Club. He recorded another sensational upset over 9th seed Flavio Cobolli 6-4, 7-6, 6-0 in two hours and 15 minutes.

In the victory, Fery hit 27 winners and 15 unforced errors. That included 8 aces and 1 double fault. Fery landed 62% of first serves in play and won 78% of first serve points (40/51). Fery won 65% of second serve points (20/31) and saved three of four break points in the match. He is just the second wild card to reach the Wimbledon semifinals.

Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fery Head-To-Head

Perhaps it’s no surprise that these two players have never met before this.

Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fery Prediction

Zverev is the odds-on favorite to reach his first Wimbledon final and this has been a dream draw for the German, whose record against players outside the world’s top 10 is excellent. Now that he’s beaten his biggest kryptonite Fritz, in this section, I just don’t see him tripping up before the final. Fery has had an incredible tournament, but he’s a class below the German right now and it would take an unbelievable amount of luck for things to swing his way in this match.

Nur Said's Pick: Zverev games handicap -5.5
