Flavio Cobolli Preview
Flavio Cobolli powered past Damir Dzumhur in the second semifinal to reach his second ATP final of his career. The match took 15 games to decide and lasted 65 minutes. Cobolli prevailed 6-3, 6-0 to pick up his sixth win of the season. In the victory, Cobolli hit 20 winners and 21 unforced errors, including three aces and two double faults. • Baez and Cobolli have not played on tour. This will be their first meeting.
Sebastian Baez vs Flavio Cobolli Prediction
Baez starts as the favorite at -181, and we agree. He is already a seven-time champion at the Tour level, and he's only 24. Baez's success has been on clay. He doesn't possess an overpowering presence, but the rhythm he finds on this surface is almost unmatched. He's got patience and an exceptional rally tolerance to outlast opponents, and it was clear when the draw was made last weekend that Baez would most likely be competing for the title this Sunday. I can't deny that he's a vastly superior player than Cobolli on clay. That said, I like his chances of adding to his trophy cabinet.
