Learner Tien scored the biggest win of his career by ranking on Wednesday at the Mexican Open to reach his first ATP quarterfinal. The Next Gen star defeated the top seed of the tournament Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-4 in an hour and 29 minutes.

Tien is winning plenty of fans with his cunning but very watchable tennis. At first glance, he doesn't strike you as a physical player with his lean physique. But he's got so much power when allowed time to execute that sweet forehand, and a bullet-proof defense to make opponents play one more shot. He brings both of those attributes to the table and he's such a decisive shot-maker. I'm not sleeping on Tien here. He's a value pick at +150 especially as he is coming off the biggest win of his life. I'm riding on this wave of momentum from one of the most underrated teenagers in the sport.
