Gracheva was impressive in a straight-sets win over the much-fancied favorite Peyton Stearns. It is another big-hitting American that awaits her. The Frenchwoman has a fluctuating peak level which makes her unappetizing as the slight favorite in this match.

I'm taking Dolehide to edge this one. When the pace of the match goes up a notch, Dolehide can hit through the ball with real authority and put constant pressure on Gracheva (granted her high-risk approach comes with unlimited errors). The American is also very versatile thanks to her doubles success so she'll win most of the mid-court/net points. Give me Dolehide in three.
