Iga Swiatek vs Elena Rybakina Prediction
Swiatek-Rybakina is one of the most interesting rivalries in women's tennis largely because both players perform at the elite level and there is a contrast in styles. I'm on Swiatek here. She's been the woman to beat in Doha in each of the last three years and her numbers are absolutely insane. That hasn't changed this week.
She's made some smart adjustments to her game to counter Rybakina's effortless power. Swiatek is not just withstanding pressure but also applying her own and that was highlighted when they played at the United Cup last month when Swiatek took time away from the Kazakh and rushed her in rallies, thereby rendering Rybakina's power less efficient. Just like almost every match they have played, this should go down to the last point and Swiatek's growing belief that she can push Rybakina to play on the move makes her the favorite for me.
