Taylor Fritz Preview
Taylor Fritz is ranked 4th in the ATP rankings, his personal best and will look to win his ninth ATP title. Half of his eight titles have been on home soil. However, Dallas remains an unconquered venue for 27-year-old Californian.
Fritz has played twice in the past in Dallas. He was knocked out in the quarterfinal on debut by Marcos Giron and was a semifinalist on his last visit two years ago, losing to Yibing Wu of China.
He is the top seed this week and the odds-on favorite for the title. Fritz reached the final of the US Open in his last tournament on American soil towards the end of last year.
This season, Fritz competed at the United Cup where he helped the USA clinch its second title in the mixed-team competition. He won four of five singles matches.
He was a disappointment at the Australian Open, losing in the third round to Gael Monfils in four sets.
Arthur Rinderknech Preview
Arthur Rinderknech is ranked 60th in the official ATP rankings, which is a few spots below his personal best ranking of No. 42.
The Frenchman won 12 of 20 matches on indoor hard courts last season, mostly at the Challenger level, where he captured his one and only title of 2024 in Lille.
Rinderknech started the 2025 season playing in Brisbane where he suffered a first-round loss to Yoshihito Nishioka. It was a similar fate that ensued in his next two tournaments in Adelaide and the Australian Open.
However, he ended his losing sequence upon his return to Europe, beating countryman Harold Mayot in the first round in Montpellier. But the celebrations were short-lived because he lost his next match to Nikoloz Basilashvili.
Taylor Fritz vs Arthur Rinderknech Head-To-Head
• Fritz and Rinderknech have played twice on Tour, with both matches taking place at Grand Slam level.
• Fritz leads Rinderknech 2-0. He defeated him at the 2023 French Open and 2024 Wimbledon in four sets.
Taylor Fritz vs Arthur Rinderknech Prediction
Fritz and Rinderknech played a chaotic match at the 2023 French Open and that tension clouded their second meeting at Wimbledon. Rinderknech would love to turn the tables here, but he's woefully out of form. Still, if something was to change form-wise, this matchup should serve as inspiration for him. Winning a set doesn't look out of question, with Rinderknech achieving this feat in his two defeats to Fritz. The Rinderknech set handicap is a whopping +200 and is worth considering.
Nur’s Pick Arthur Rinderknech set handicap +1.5
