Yannick Hanfmann vs Juncheng Shang Prediction
Shang is ranked 67th in the world rankings and is very much on an upward trajectory now that he's sorted out his fitness concerns. He's guaranteed a new career-high ranking after the tournament. But there has not been any indication he's ready to leave before the final day after playing out of his skin to beat three decent players in the draw to reach the semifinal. Hanfmann is obviously very experienced but has a wretched record outside clay, and his presence at this stage of the Chengdu Oepn is a slight surprise. We are happy to tail the much-fancied Shang to perform in front of the home fans.
